Часть экономической деятельности, связанная с предоставлением разнообразных услуг (от парикмахерских до банковских и электронных). Сектор услуг постоянно расширяется на фоне сокращения производственного и сельскохозяйственного секторов. В некоторых странах на сектор услуг приходится более 2/3 общего объема производства, и в нем может быть занято до 4/5 рабочей силы. См. Structure of industry.
